Earth Brands - Head of Operations
Responsibilities:
- Lead machinery installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal production efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Oversee all operational aspects of Earth Brands' manufacturing process, with a focus on plastics extrusion and cup thermoforming.
- Fulfill new orders, manage inventory levels, and meet customer timelines.
- Cultivate and maintain contacts and relationships with suppliers and equipment repair services to ensure timely and cost-effective support.
- Hire, train, and manage staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Continuously improve operational processes and procedures to drive productivity, lower costs, improve quality, and meet safety standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, design, quality assurance, and others to meet company objectives and customer demands.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree) in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience working with extrusion and thermoforming equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of machinery installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to independently manage projects and tasks.
- Extensive experience in supply chain management within the food service industry, including sourcing, procurement, and logistics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Previous experience hiring, training, and managing staff -- with a focus on fostering a positive and productive work culture.
- Open-mindedness, leadership, general intelligence, and a likeable personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary: $130-200K
